Professor Helen Brough
Founder – Consultant in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology
Professor Brough is a Consultant in Paediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology, a Professor at King’s College London, the Medical Advisor for NARF, and the founder of Children’s Allergy Doctors. Previously, she served as Head of Service at the Evelina London Children’s Allergy Service, St. Thomas’ Hospital from 2015 to 2023. She brings extensive experience in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of food allergy, food and inhalant immunotherapy, eczema, asthma, and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.
Professor Brough’s contributions to her field have earned her several prestigious awards, including Health Professional of the Year from Coeliac UK, the Barry Kay Award for Excellence in Paediatric Allergy Research from the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and the Distinguished Clinician Award from the American Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr Erika Harnik
Consultant in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology
Erika is a Consultant and Head of Service in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology at Imperial College London. She trained in Paediatric Allergy at the Evelina Children’s Hospital, St. Mary’s hospital, Royal Free Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. She received a distinction in her Master of Sciences degree in Paediatric Allergy from the University of Southampton. She is an excellent, thorough and dedicated doctor with a wealth of experience and excellent rapport with parents and patients alike.
Dr Rosy Wells
Paediatric Allergy Consultant
Rosy has been a Paediatric Allergy Consultant at St George’s Hospital since 2018 and is Clinical Lead for the service. She completed her training in General Paediatrics and developed a special interest in Allergy, obtaining a specialist interest module (SPIN) in Allergy from RCPCH. Rosy holds a MSc in Advanced Paediatrics and a PG Cert. in Allergy.
Rosy and her team at St George’s were awarded the ‘Free From Hero’ award in 2023 for their work in provided Allergy Emergency Bags and training to all local schools.
Dr Andreina Marques Mejias

Specialist Doctor in Paediatric Allergy
Dr Andreina Marques Mejias is an Allergist trained in Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid with a PhD from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. After completing her training, she moved to London, where she has been working in the Paediatric allergy department at Evelina Children’s Hospital. She has a special focus on paediatric allergy research as a co-investigator of prevention, diagnosis, and food allergy treatment trials. Dr Marques Mejias speaks fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Rosalind Capelin-Jones
Senior Paediatric Allergy Registrar
Rosalind is a Senior Paediatric Allergy Registrar having trained at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington and Evelina Children’s Hospital. She received her MSc in Allergy from Imperial College University for which she gained a Distinction and the Dean’s prize. Her interest in allergy arose from her own personal experience of having a food allergic child; therefore she understands the daily challenges that parents face. As a result, she is an empathetic & diligent doctor who seeks to provide excellent patient-centred care.
Anjali Rampersad
Senior Paediatric Allergy Registrar
Anjali is a Paediatric Allergy Registrar, in her final year of training. She has undertaken her Paediatric Allergy training at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital within the Dermatology department, giving her a vast knowledge base to deliver patient centred care to children and young people across the entire spectrum of allergic disease. She is on the BSACI Paediatric Allergy Committee as the Trainee representative, has been involved in creating national guidance on Palforzia for Peanut oral Immunotherapy and has a special interest in Food Immunotherapy.
Hannah Marshall
Senior Paediatric Allergy Registrar
Hannah is a Paediatric Allergy Registrar with over 12 years of experience in paediatrics, having trained in allergy at Evelina London and the Royal London Hospitals. She holds a Special Interest Module in Paediatric Allergy with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and is completing a Master’s in Allergy at Imperial College, London. She works clinically and in research, focusing on food allergy prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Hannah is also a member of the Standards of Care Committee of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and is known for her enthusiasm, friendliness, and empathy in patient care.
Karen Wright
Lead Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian (RD) MSc Allergy
Karen has worked as an Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian at Children’s Allergy Doctors. Karen gained a distinction in the MSc Allergy degree and was awarded the AAIR Holgate Award for Excellence in Allergy from the University of Southampton as is currently doing a PhD in food allergy. In 2021, Karen was awarded the Anthony Frew Award for Excellence in Allergy Education by the British Society of Allergy and Immunology. Karen is also joint chair of the British Dietetic Association Food Allergy Specialist Group.
Misbah Primett
Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian
Misbah Primett is a Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian at Children’s Allergy Doctors and currently works as the lead allergy dietitian at St Georges Hospital with expertise in managing paediatric allergy cases. Misbah is part of the dietetic team at Children’s Allergy Doctors and provides guidance and support for families with allergies and those undergoing immunotherapy. Misbah is also studying for a Master’s in Allergy and is a committee member of the British Dietetic Association Food Allergy Specialist Group.
Samantha Blamires
Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian
Samantha is a Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian at Children’s Allergy Doctors, and is the acting Clinical Lead Dietitian for Paediatric Allergy at St Mary’s hospital, London. Samantha actively engages in allergy research and is currently completing a Master of Sciences degree (MSc) in Allergy with the University of Southampton. She is a dedicated and diligent dietitian who strives to improve patient care and was awarded the Anthony Frew Award for Excellence in Allergy Education by the British Society of Allergy and Immunology in 2023.
Louise Cameron
Clinical Nurse Specialist
Louise is a clinical nurse specialist at Children’s Allergy Doctors and at the Portland Hospital where she runs the day unit service for oral food, drug and latex challenges. Her training took place at Great Ormond Street hospital with South Bank University, where she achieved a BSC in Children’s Nursing. Prior to moving into the speciality of allergy, she worked on a variety of wards including Accident & Emergency. She is a kind and caring nurse who always has time for patients and their families.
Hannah Smyth
Clinical Nurse Specialist
Hannah is a clinical nurse specialist at Children’s Allergy Doctors. Hannah graduated from King’s College London with a BSc in Children’s Nursing. Since qualifying, she has spent time working on various general paediatric areas; gaining experience caring for atopic children throughout. She has experience in doing allergy testing, parent and child education, respiratory function testing, food challenges, immunotherapy, and drug provocation testing. She is a compassionate nurse who puts patients and families first.
Melanie Davies
Clinical Nurse Specialist
Melanie is a clinical nurse specialist at Children’s Allergy Doctors and at the Portland Hospital where she runs the day unit service for oral food, drug and latex challenges. After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 2009, Melanie commenced her nursing career at King’s College Hospital. Having worked in Accident & Emergency, paediatric neurosurgical and the children’s’ day unit, she started working in Paediatric Allergy in 2014. She is a very experienced nurse who knows how to put parents and their families at ease.
Magdalena Marcell
Clinical Nurse Specialist
Magda is a clinical nurse specialist at Children’s Allergy Doctors and a paediatric allergy research nurse at Imperial College NHS Trust and works on a range of food immunotherapy studies. Magda has got a background in children’s nursing and public health and has worked in different healthcare systems. She received a distinction in her MSc Global Health and Development from UCL in 2021 and a recent counselling certificate. Magda is passionate about enhancing patient care through evaluating new treatment methods and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care, health and well-being.

Tracy is our Practice Manager with over 30 years of management experience. Tracy originally qualified as a nurse at University College Hospital, London where she staffed for several years. Tracy then trained and qualified as a Medical Secretary and worked for many years in private practice management. Tracy manages all areas of the practice including billing and practice development.
Tracy enjoys providing an excellent, friendly service to every patient and contributes to the quality of care. She is happy to assist you in any of your child’s needs and looks forward to speaking to you.
